E X P A N D + R E S T O R E - C Y C L I C A L L I V I N G

Feminine Wellbeing Day Retreat

With Kiri Spiotta & Stacey O'Gorman

And special guests - Emma Gibson, Rachel Garbary & Hercules Noble

A day of yoga, plant-based nourishment, education, and embodiment

August 14, 10am - 4pm

KULA retreat, Muriwai

Expand & Restore - Cyclical Living - is a day of recalibration, restoration, embodiment and education around our internal seasons, nestled amidst native bush and overlooking the rhythmic waves of Muriwai Beach.

We live in a world that constantly demands productivity, busyness and accomplishment where 'self care' is deemed as a luxury. In reality, when we take the time to observe and honour our natural cycles, all aspects of our life begin to flourish and thrive. Further, when we observe and honour these internal rhythms, we have the energy to truly admire and acknowledge our hard work and achievements and fully bask in the spaciousness of time set aside to rest and restore.

At Expand and Restore - cyclical living - we will be sharing embodied practices, teachings, and exercises to provide a better understanding of our natural cycles as women.

Cyclical Living means living with the natural rhythms of your menstrual cycle. It is the idea that you harness the phases of your menstrual cycle and adapt your lifestyle to suit.

Living cyclically is one of the greatest life hacks to better mental, physical and emotional health. When we live in alignment with our menstrual cycles we are able to cultivate more awareness, acceptance, energy, happiness, ease, flow and effortless productivity.

The more we get to know our menstrual cycles, the more we realise we ARE nature. We start to see the thread woven through everything. That our entire lives are one big cycle in the same way nature is. Our journey through womanhood works the same way a plant grows, blooms, dies and begins again.

By taking time out to be in nature, switch off our phones, slow down, connect to our bodies, absorb knowledge and eat delicious wholefoods, we are better able to show up fully for ourselves in our careers, relationships, and for the wider world.

This Retreat will include:

- a 60 minute uplifting and invigorating vinyasa class themed around the seasons of spring and summer to encourage expansion, expression, and growth led by senior yoga teacher Kiri Spiotta.

- an EPIC, nourishing, plant-based feast and treats throughout the day by the one and only Hercules Noble.

-A talk, embodiment exercises and meditations guided by feminine wellbeing educator Stacey O'Gorman on healing our relationships with our menstrual cycles and honouring our wombs.

-Science behind our menstrual cycle and q&a with naturopath Emma Gibson

- Cyclical tea ceremony to support your inner seasons with Rachel Garbary

- a Yin yoga themed around the seasons of autumn and winter to encourage introspection, grounding, and deep restoration led by Kiri Spiotta
